It is not “On your face”, and will mostly go unnoticed, but will bring a huge change in years to come

When I was around four years old, I remember asking my mom about my color.

Mom, why I am dark skinned compared to Raj. Why did God punish me?

Even before I properly learned to sum up two numbers, I realized that being dark-skinned is a punishment. Thanks to the array of fairness cream advertisements that sold a solution to get whiter skin in a matter of few days. …

Hey All, this is Cinto. I am originally from India, currently working for a tech company in the United States (more precisely The Silicon Valley). My friends who know me claim that I am humourous, a good motivator, and very friendly. Yes, I keep asking them once in a while :P.

I have always loved writing. My oldest memory of writing goes back to when I was 9 years old and I wrote a story for a local town competition. I came 3rd. I've written fiction and plays for my school and college. Recently started writing on Medium.

Based on two years of working on Kubernetes

Ship with containers
Ship with containers

Originally developed by Google, Kubernetes is an open source container orchestration platform designed to automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. At the time of writing this article, Kubernetes is about seven years old, and it is one of the most beloved platforms. A RightScale report indicates that container adoption increased from 49% in 2018 to 57% in 2019. Many cloud providers, including Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Amazon AWS, have also launched containers.

Kubernetes uses manifests files in the form of .yaml to create, modify, and delete Kubernetes resources such as pods, deployments, services, etc. But Kubernetes…

Toxic managers aren’t always obvious, but in some cases, there are subtle signs to pay attention to

Engineering Managers play a very crucial role in the software industry. I believe the quality of a project depends more on the manager than on the individual developers.

In their role, they are responsible for designing the end-to-end architecture of the project, bringing up potential issues beforehand, and cultivating good harmony and trust among the team members. They should be answering technical questions, proposing budgets for projects, and training new employees.

But, unfortunately, the engineering manager position is also one of the most misused positions in the software industry. Some take the position for granted and shy away from technical…

Every job has a silver lining

There is too much politics out here. I wasted 7 years of my career here. I have learnt nothing. This job is meaningless.

I angrily remarked at Joe, as a fresh swell of rage rose in me.

He looked at me and smiled.

Every Job Has a Silver Lining. You have learned a lot of things wokring here. You just do not realize it now.

He replied with an expression of a classic Morgan Freeman portrayal of God.

I shook with fury. I wanted to ask him a lot of questions. But I kept quiet. …

Or any other Influencer for that matter

Strange… isn't it? Absurd, maybe?

But that is exactly what I do. And it is not limited to just writers. I apply the same rules for other “influencers” like Youtubers etc.

I spend a lot of time daily on Medium. Most of the time is spent reading and learning from other well-written articles. I want to read articles that improve my critical thinking, that exposes me to a unique and different style of writing, and that inspire new ideas.

But unfortunately, sometimes, a big and famous writer is not the way to go.

They may be a very good writer…

Fear, curiosity, and a bit of anxiety are all a part of my daily life.

I am one of the most scared people on the face of the earth. What may seem so normal to most people, I need to plan and prepare ahead of time.

That does not mean that my heart is palpitating and pounding all the time, or I have sweaty and trembling hands. I am talking about “Good stress”, or what psychologists refer to as “eustress,” which is the type of stress we have when we are cautious, careful, or excited, and when we do not have an imminent threat to our life.

Last week I had this interview for a…

And is a healthy lifestyle more effective than drugs?

What is your first plan of action if you have a slight fever?

What do you do if you have a headache?

Do you drink a lot of fluids, take a rest, and let the body take care of it? Or do you instantly reach out to the box of medicines for Advil or Tylenol?

For most of us, the appeal of instant relief from the pain and discomfort will push us toward these medicines. With our increasingly busy lifestyles, we often opt for a quick fix to our ailments which mostly ends us with a pill of some kind.

Thanks for uploading the video though

Just recently I saw a hilarious video compilation of pets. It had a dog on a roller skate crashing into a fence, it had a cat jumping, shit scared on seeing a toy train, it had a dog chasing its own tail, it also had a chicken chasing a teenager. It was really funny, I laughed a lot. It lifted my mood.

Thanks for that.

But I cannot subscribe to your channel.

I do not want to see similar videos again, in the near future.

The realization that something is wrong is the first step towards a better future

We spend a lot of time at our workplace, hence enjoying what we do professionally is vital in achieving contentment and spiritual fulfillment. A happy job equals a happy mind.

But sometimes it is not easy to realize that you are not happy at your job.

Maybe everyone hates their job

I am getting paid, that is more than enough

I do not want to move from my comfort zone

These thoughts overpower our mental well-being at our job.

At the beginning of my career, I started off as a Business Analyst — Because my project wanted me to. The…
